Yesterday was Sunday, and we decided to take the day to travel to El Valle and visit the Farmer’s Market in the center of the town. Things pretty much came to a standstill in Panama during Covid-19 for well over a year, so now that many are fully vaccinated, things are opening up more. And the market was crowded. However, everyone was wearing their masks and being respectful of others’ space.

The market was full of fresh veggies, fruits, plants, and artisanal crafts. We spent under $40 and got a ton of fresh veggie and fruits that, if we would have bought at the store, would have easily cost us double!

On the drive home, we had a torrential downpour. Well, that is to be expected since it is the rainy season. And El Valle is in the mountainous regions of Panama. However, in our home area in Playa Coronado, we did not get any rain. Pretty much par for the course.

Today though was a beautiful, refreshing morning. Robert was out for an early morning walk while I sat outside doing my morning prayers and mediation while the boys (our dogs) explored the yard. You know you are living ¨the good life¨when you can sit on your front patio, feel the cool breezes, and hearing the waves crashing off the Pacific Ocean like you were sitting right on the beach while looking at your beautiful front yard with an inground pool!! Welcome to my world and my mornings.
