Wow, back in 2017 is when I first wanted to start writing a blog.
A lot of changed since then 2017!!
The starting part for change started in Feb 2013 when I was first diagnosed with BREAST CANCER … the horrible thing a woman never wants to hear! I was one of the lucky ones…I had stage zero breast cancer. So, after having a lumpectomy and going through radiation, and starting tamoxifen, we moved to Florida from Pennsylvania. The PLAN was to live in Florida for one year and then retire in Panama.
Well, after five years living in Florida going through more health issues like a torn rotator cuff from a fall, a sprained ankle from that same fall, and hip replacement and also living through hurricane Irma, Robert and I decided it was time to go to Panama or we might never do it!
Oh, and did I mention that we were living on a 30ft catamaran for the last three years, and we were sailing the catamaran with our two dogs to Panama!
Well, since I just had a hip replacement, my orthopedic doctor said no long-term sailing trips. So, I flew to Panama while Robert and our two dogs sailed.
